Aranmanai Movie Review

Aranmanai is a comedy horror film but neither the comedy, nor horror is substantially good. Sundar.C gives a slight disappointing movie when compares to his previous two films (Kalakalupu and Theeya Velai Seyanum Kumaru) Three girls in the movie have done a good job especially Hansika. It might be her best performance in terms of acting. Vinay has nothing to speak of. Santhanam's one-liners, Kovai Sarala and Manobala managed to tickle our funny bones.

Heaven is for real - Book review

It was my first book in 2014 and tenth book on all count. I fortunately bumped into "Heaven is for real" trailer on Youtube. I surfed for the movie. Many reviews told to read the book rather than watching the film. It was also my first foreign author book, got a little problem in certain words but thanks to the dictionary. it is also an easy read, completed the book in 3 hours.

Todd Burpo is a small town pastor living in Nebraska along with his wife Sonja and two children. Cassey is 6 years old and Colton is approaching 4. Colton had a bad burst appendix 6 months back; he was very weak and almost dead during the surgery. It was a very tough period of Burpo's family. They struggled emotionally and financially and their only hope is God.

If Its Not Forever. Its Not Love Book Review

I have completed reading my third and final book "If Its Not Forever. Its Not Love" of 2013. I surfed a lot of books, finally buy it in flipkart. It took me a month to complete the first half of the book, where the later half was finished in 3 hours. I haven't tried Durjoy Dutta's book before, this was my first one. He conveys the emotions perfectly through out the book with simple style of writing. At times, he repeats the words or the feel which will be a slight frustration to readers. I think of giving 3 starts to it, but towards the end; it turns very interesting. so, I will give 4/5 for this book.

Irandam ulagam review

The most awaited film of the year 2013 hits big screen on last Friday. Selavaraghavan took 2 years for this film. He also withdraws Kamal's 'Vishvaroopam' for this project. Irandam Ulagam is a bit disappointed movie which has a confusing script and dull screenplay. Arya and Anushka done a decent job but the film is only for limited audience. "How far you will travel for love" was the tagline of it. It has the glimpses of Hollywood films Avatar, Narnia, Fountain, Cloud Atlas etc.

Touch of Mist - Book Review

It was my second book this year; fortunate to read this book very early after publication.  It is also my second book of a female author following Preeti Shenoy's "Life is what you make it". I expect a good love story with intriguing scenes; well, I am not disappointed.

It is an easy read; It has nearly 200 pages where I finished in 3 hours. The book contain main two characters; Reena and Gautham, two IT employees fall in love with each other. Their parents open heatedly accepts their marriage. They soon got married and lived happily ever after.

Vathikuchi Movie Review

A.R.Murugadoss produced his second film "Vathikuchi" which made slightly less impact than his first film "Engeum Epothum". Vathikuchi has a typical tamil commercial plot where the hero saves the innocent from the villans. But, it was shown in more realistic and entertaining way. It spotlights the morning crime in the city and how things changed the innocent man's life after he started helping strangers.
