If Its Not Forever. Its Not Love Book Review

I have completed reading my third and final book "If Its Not Forever. Its Not Love" of 2013. I surfed a lot of books, finally buy it in flipkart. It took me a month to complete the first half of the book, where the later half was finished in 3 hours. I haven't tried Durjoy Dutta's book before, this was my first one. He conveys the emotions perfectly through out the book with simple style of writing. At times, he repeats the words or the feel which will be a slight frustration to readers. I think of giving 3 starts to it, but towards the end; it turns very interesting. so, I will give 4/5 for this book.

I’d do things differently

Dear Charlie,
I love you son more than anything. I know it from the first time when I hold you in my arms. Over the years, your mom passed away. I got drunk, I sent you to farm house instead of school. I wish I'd do things differently to you. I got sick now; doctors told that it will cost a lot for the operation. You want to do it but your wife thinks otherwise. I don’t want to be a burden to you. By the time, you are reading this I would have been far away.

Conditions apply

I love you; you love me. My family loves you; your family loves me. Yet, marriage needs some conditions apply. A dowry, unfortunately my father is poor neither you can’t leave your family. I don’t know whom to blame whether your father or the society.

Irandam ulagam review

The most awaited film of the year 2013 hits big screen on last Friday. Selavaraghavan took 2 years for this film. He also withdraws Kamal's 'Vishvaroopam' for this project. Irandam Ulagam is a bit disappointed movie which has a confusing script and dull screenplay. Arya and Anushka done a decent job but the film is only for limited audience. "How far you will travel for love" was the tagline of it. It has the glimpses of Hollywood films Avatar, Narnia, Fountain, Cloud Atlas etc.

Girl with Butterfly Tattoo

Tring Tring... The time is now 4 A.M

Alarm woke John up, as he was lying in his cart. He open his eyes in a half sleep; an old fan in the ceiling revolving clockwise. It makes some distress sound. He feels discomfort to his surprise, his both hands and legs are tied up with his bed. He tries to free himself but can't unwrap it. A stream of blood flowing on the floor. He panicked, drenched heavily and screamed for help.

Touch of Mist - Book Review

It was my second book this year; fortunate to read this book very early after publication.  It is also my second book of a female author following Preeti Shenoy's "Life is what you make it". I expect a good love story with intriguing scenes; well, I am not disappointed.

It is an easy read; It has nearly 200 pages where I finished in 3 hours. The book contain main two characters; Reena and Gautham, two IT employees fall in love with each other. Their parents open heatedly accepts their marriage. They soon got married and lived happily ever after.

Touch Thursday No : 3

This entry is for the Touch Thursday contest conducted by Preeti Shenoy. I have tried a fiction conversation between Anjali and Sriram.

“Dear passengers, the flight to New York have been delayed for 2 hours.”

It was announced at the airport. Anjali and Sriram were school friends belong to the same neighbourhood. Soon, they have lost touch and moved on with their own lives. They meet now at the airport and eventually their flight got delayed. They went for a coffee where they have lots of things (nearly a decade) to catch up.

Mrs. Franklin serves him dinner; she asks him to have a word with Tommy that he looks disturbed on something. 5 Youngest mothers in the world

I was terribly shocked when I came across these records. According to law, minimum age of a girl to get married is 18 but there are some miracles happen in last few centuries which also has medical proof.
"Birth and Death are the secret of Nature."
Some people's innocence and cruelty leads to this kind of drastic results in the past. I hope there wont be any such things in the future. Here are the top 5 list of young mothers.

Thinking Tom

It was a fiction. It doesn't resembles any person or technology.
Sun flashes right in my face; I wake up slowly, rub my eyes and heads downstairs. I reach the kitchen looking for pancakes. Mom usually hides it somewhere. “Kirk!  (Sound). Someone on the door behind me; I turn back; it was mom handing my brush.

Hey Bijju, there you are. First, brush your teeth. Don’t forget, Ammu is coming home this weekend. Install that cat application in your phone. She asked that last time.

The Backbenchers : The Extra class! - Book review

I have completed my eighth book but strangely this year's first one. I always like to share my thoughts on books I have read but never got the time. Finally, started to do book review.

The Backbenchers : The Extra class! is a book written by Siddarth oberoi published by Grapevine Ltd. I bought this ebook in Flipkart and it is for some 50 bucks. Needless to say, Flipkart service is always good.

Prank Call

It was a full moon with mild clouds and twinkling stars in the dark black sky.  The more I look at it, the more I remember her. She has a beautiful face quite similar to moon. Today is a big night for me, I invited her for dinner. I cooked her favorite dish, lighted candles in the dining table. I wear black dress; that was her favorite one.

Bad Luck

It was in the early morning on the busy Monday around 7.30 am. The bus stop was almost empty with few people around. There was a school girl studying her book, a couples chatting with each other, an old man looking at the sky checking whether the sun is out. A guy joined the bus stop; he is busy talking with someone in mobile. He is well shaved, has white hair should be in his late thirties or early forties. He wears a lavender blue shirt tugged in with black pant. He has a royal blue color laptop bag on his bony shoulders. His eyes are brown covered with a black fiber framed specks where he appears like a software engineer. The climate is mild and chill, but he sweats a lot like a marathon runner. His face is tense seems like he has a problem.

34/100

It was almost night at that time. I was trying to write a love letter in my laptop. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day.   I and Aditi have been friends for last 2 years. I think it is the right time to tell her. She might have surprised but definitely will accept. I want to do it all by myself. But I can’t because I am clueless; I need help of these guys, glaring their photo on my laptop table. The photo has three guys picture, me and my roommates. They were totally different and equally interesting guys.

Sreesanth, Chandila, Chavan spot explained by police

Sreesanth, Ajith Chandila and Ankeet Chawan was arrested on Wednesday night for spot booking in the ongoing IPL season. Unfortunately all the three players was from the same team Rajasthan Royals which was led by the most iconic leader Dravid.

The allegations was explained by the police commissioner Mr.Neeraj Kumar.

"The modus operandi was: there was an agreement between the bookies and a player that in a certain over they will give away a minimum amount of runs. The bookies also gave the players the directions. That they have to indicate they are ready to give away those runs. You rotate your watch or you put on your towel or you spend some time setting the field." - Neeraj Kumar

Gambhir and Bisla sledging Dravid

His image taking a bit of beating after verbal duel with Rahul Dravid during Friday's IPL game, Gautam Gambhir on Saturday sought to clear the air by saying that he never exchanged any harsh words with the legendary batsman, who remains a respected figure for him.

Watch IPL Videos

This is the second time that Gambhir is involved in such an altercation. In an earlier IPL match, he and Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli were involved in an ugly on-field spat.

Vathikuchi Movie Review

A.R.Murugadoss produced his second film "Vathikuchi" which made slightly less impact than his first film "Engeum Epothum". Vathikuchi has a typical tamil commercial plot where the hero saves the innocent from the villans. But, it was shown in more realistic and entertaining way. It spotlights the morning crime in the city and how things changed the innocent man's life after he started helping strangers.

Who is Ankita

The story and the characters are completely fiction. It doesn’t resembles anyone.

Valentines day is yet to come, where all the lovers in the universe spend this day romantically . For me, it was just another day. Each year, I say to myself in front of the mirror. “Hey Rahul, you will find a perfect girl and you will have a big romantic Feb 14 next year”. This year also the same.

I wish I could be like

I wish I could be like a strong spirited person like Marine Corporal Todd Love. In 2010, he lost his both legs and one hand during the explosion take place in Afghanistan. The blast was a defining moment in life for the Marine. From that point on, the injuries he had suffered would affect not only him, but his family, friends, fellow Marines and everyone else who knew him. The important options in life were reduced actually to two: He could spend the rest of his life as a “victim” and depend on the world for his basic needs, or he could resolve to live life to the fullest with not much more than sheer determination. Cpl Love chose the latter.
